My passion for technology began at the age of 12 when I started exploring programming languages. Driven by curiosity and a love for video games, I pursued advanced studies at DigiPen Institute of Technology's Real-Time Interactive Simulation program, one of the nation's most rigorous applied programming schools. Throughout my career, I've utilized C++ for game development across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms, and leveraged Haskell and Idris for domain modeling, domain-specific languages, and compilers. I've contributed to Intel's graphics hardware group, developed mobile games at TinyCo (now JamCity), enhanced DevOps at SigFig, and worked on operating system software at Nintendo. Additionally, I've owned complete Android app development for a points-of-interest mapping app using Java. I've also employed Scheme and Racket for teaching and as a compiler target language, and utilized JavaScript for front-end and web service development. My expertise extends to Linux system administration and scripting, virtualization with ESX and Docker, and VPN management. In addition to my industry experience, I've taught core software engineering and elective courses at DigiPen, tutoring hundreds of students over the past four years. I'm enthusiastic about bringing my expertise to both production projects and educational initiatives, aiming to make meaningful contributions in both academic and professional settings.More...
