Gill is a project sales specialist and currently serves on the DataNoble executive committee. She holds an IMM Sales and Marketing Diploma. Twenty-five years of her career was in the Supply Chain Sector, where she headed Sales, Government and Special Projects verticals for UTi, now DSV. Gill wrote a white paper on optimising profitability and success within the constraints of Public Sector relationships, as well as articles on successful Public and Private Sector Partnerships. She won a prestigious industry Platinum Logistics Achiever Award, for a highly successful state funded Department of Education project.
She was an appointed mentor for DSV’s Graduate Development Program, assisting young graduates develop their skills and careers in the company. Driven by her passion for skills development, she was a seasoned lecturer and panel judge for many years, on the successful DSV Lions Sales Development Program.
Following that she spent five years in the ICT sector as General Manager of Business Sales and CX programs for Netstar. She served on their Employment Equity Committee and was a valued member of the Netstar Women’s Network Committee, with a passion for gender empowerment, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
