About Me
I'm a researcher specialising in criminology, policing practices, drug policy, and criminal justice reform with over a decade of research experience across Australia, the UK, and Canada.
I recently completed my PhD at Flinders University examining police stop and search practices through extensive ethnographic fieldwork. My research has been published in leading journals including the British Journal of Criminology, European Journal of Criminology, and Policing & Society.
What I bring to projects:
My expertise spans qualitative and quantitative methods, with particular strengths in policy evaluation, interview-based research, and translating complex findings into accessible reports. I've worked with government agencies (NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research), academic institutions (London School of Economics, Simon Fraser University), and international research organizations (RAND Europe).
I've delivered over 14 research reports and policy evaluations, and I'm skilled at working with diverse stakeholders—from frontline police officers to policymakers—to produce evidence-based insights that inform real-world practice.
Available for: Policy evaluations, literature reviews, research design consultation, data collection, interviewing, data analysis, evidence synthesis, and grant writing support in social policy and criminal justice areas.More...
