Sonya Groves is a retired educator with over 20 years of experience in the classroom, inspiring countless students with her passion for literature, writing, culture, and linguistics. A graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a PhD in Culture, literacy, and Language, Sonya dedicated her career to fostering creativity and critical thinking in her students as well as mentoring new teachers.
