I leveraged my vast experience with in-vivo and in-vitro models to implement robust strategies for rare diseases, kidney diseases, and oncology drug development programs. In addition to providing scientific expertise, I also developed strategic relationships with collaborators and CROs to design and execute multidisciplinary research projects supporting drug discovery. As a lab manager in academia, I provided business and operational leadership to a scientific team, developed and trained personnel, and constantly increased team performance.
My translational Research Scientist and Principal Investigator expertise covers identifying, quantifying, and validating target-specific biomarkers in biological matrices. As principal investigator for PD/Efficacy trials, I was instrumental in selecting and validating disease models.
On the program management side, I helped select and build relationships with study vendors and contract research organizations to facilitate study goal setting, design, and management by maintaining communications, directing and evaluating their work, and ensuring the successful completion of the studies. Collecting, analyzing, and managing complex data, I generated study reports to help with pre-IND filing. As an acclaimed author with 28+ peer-reviewed publications, I connected with key opinion, academic leaders, and partners within a broad network to share study findings and gain support.
