I’m Canela Corno, an actress, playwright, and director with a long-standing career in the Argentine independent theater scene. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to explore and deepen my artistic voice through a wide range of projects—both on stage and behind the scenes.
As a performer, I’m drawn to roles that challenge emotional and narrative conventions, and as a writer and director, I seek to create spaces where complexity, vulnerability, and poetic tension can emerge. One of my most recent works, El perfume nos llevará al amor o a su esencia, allowed me to weave together these disciplines—acting, writing, and co-directing—in a piece that reflects my ongoing interest in intimacy and the search for meaning through art.
