I have been in the events industry for 20 years. I started as a sound and lighting technician, worked my way to senior technical director, then transitioned to a producer role where I worked with clients to shepherd projects from inception to execution, developing A/V/L designs, assisting with scripting and blocking, and aiding the clients in bringing their visions to life. I have also worked extensively as a show caller for these events, ensuring all the cues are executed with precision and excellence.
In the pre-production realm, I have worked with clients on building budgets for shows ranging from $2,500 to more than $2,000,000. Some clients utilized my employers just for A/V support, in which case I oversaw the creation of and implementation of the A/V design, ensuring budgets were respected and scope creep was kept to a minimum.
