Sha'Rell Webb holds a distinguished position as the first African American Education Specialist at NASA's Lunar and Planetary Institute, where she collaborated with scientists on groundbreaking planetary and space research. Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and a firm belief in the potential of youth, Mrs. Webb left her role at NASA and founded Coding with a Twist, LLC.
Coding with a Twist is dedicated to introducing underrepresented groups to computer science, coding, robotics, and STEM fields. As a former science teacher and experienced educator, Sha'Rell possesses a unique ability to inspire and motivate all children, including those with disabilities. She develops customized, sensory-friendly STEM curricula for children on the autism spectrum, fostering a love for science and enhancing communication skills.
Mrs. Webb believes that early exposure to STEM is crucial for establishing positive educational experiences and future success. Her curriculum has been implemented in numerous STEM camps throughout the city and adapted for children as young as 3-4 years old.
