Claudia is a Scientific Coordinator at the North West University and her duties include research development, coordination, planning and facilitating communication among various teams of the fellowship program. She obtained her Masters Degree at the North West University in Potchefstroom, her focus was to classify sulfadoxine (which is used for malaria treatment and prevention in pregnant women) according to the Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS). She has worked in Regulatory Affairs, has experience in solubility and permeability studies (using BCS Classification), assisted on an ongoing project for the WHO and is registered as a practicing pharmacist in South Africa.
