Fundamentally, I see life as an opportunity to create as much difference and relevance as possible, in a world that, in my view, all too often creates discouragement, failure, irrationality and is shaped by our very basic tendency to greed.
My experiences in life have shaped me and my view of people. From the stay in the West Bank in Palestine, half a year as a homeless person, growing up in a loving family without much means and walking the 800 km of the Camino in Spain - everything has left its mark.
I founded and ran “The Foundation” in Aarhus for almost 8 years. Also founded the Centre For Social Rethinking where I am the CEP today and concurrently do many projects and initiatives. More than anything else, I see myself as a "student" of Socrates and Stoic philosophy. Most of my outlook on people and life, as well as my work, have roots in this thinking.
