He began his journey as the owner of a boutique wine shop Metrovino, where he built deep relationships with producers and customers alike. His passion for wine and commitment to quality led him to travel extensively, spending three months each year exploring vineyards and cellars across Europe, the United States, and South America as a buyer. These experiences shaped his global palate and refined his understanding of regional styles, production methods, and emerging trends.
Transitioning from retail to winery hospitality, Cole brought his industry knowledge and warm approach to tasting room leadership roles at acclaimed B.C. wineries including Daydreamer Wines, where he worked closely with Assistant Winemaker Kurt Dasilva, and Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards.
