Sara Christova is a Bulgarian-Italian artist based in London, UK. In 2016 she completed her BA in Illustration at Cardiff School of Art and Design, and after beginning a vibrant career in Art Direction and Scenography, she turned her focus to academia once more. In 2023 she was awarded with a Distinction for her Graduate Diploma in Fine Art at the Royal College of Art in London, where in 2024 she went on to complete her MA in Contemporary Art Practice.
She recently unveiled her first permanent installation at Dulwich College Beijing (To See is to Make Worlds, 2025), following a dual residency with Elsewhere Culture. Previously, her graduate project LOCUS SOLUS (2024) was selected as the Sculpture/Installation winner of Arts Thread’s Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2024, and has been featured on Google Arts & Culture.
Her works have appeared in the Beijing Sound Art Museum (Fractured Continuum, March-April 2025), Tate Modern (CAP x Montez Press: Sonic Disruption, March 2024), National Museum Cardiff (Museum Lates: Space, July 2019), the Bulgarian National Palace of Culture (Millennial: Bulgarian Illustration, 2017), IKLECTIK, Genesis Cinema, Copeland Gallery, and Hypha Studios, among others.More...
