Gabriella has always been of an entrepreneur nature from an early age.
After her tertiary studies Gabriella began her career in recruitment, talent resourcing and Human Resources. She was very successful and thoroughly enjoyed this profession due to the constant client interaction and assistance.
An opportunity arose at Strate, (South Africa’s Central Securities Depository) where she was part of a niche team which created a new division that focused on fintech disruption, including Blockchain Technology, and was the Secretariat of the South African Financial Blockchain consortium. Whilst at Strate, Gabriella worked closely with Nasdaq to develop an e-voting system, this is a project that she is truly proud of as it was something completely new to the South African market.
