MARTIN ALLAIS - SHORT BIO (Website/General Use)
Martin Allais (pronounced Alé) is a Venezuelan multimedia artist, animation director, and executive creative director based in Barcelona. He is the founder of BRUT Works and Head of Brand New School Spain.
His work spans animation, VR filmmaking, and music, earning recognition including a Cannes Lions Bronze, Grand LAUS 2023, and Annecy International Animation Film Festival Special Jury Distinction. His VR film BattleScar - Punk Was Invented by Girls premiered at Sundance 2018, and he executive produced the Oscar-contending Border Hopper (Sundance 2024).
Martin's commercial work includes campaigns for Apple, Google, Samsung, Facebook, and Oreo's award-winning "Wonderfilled." His illustration and design work has been featured extensively in Die Gestalten Verlag publications.
Beyond the screen, Martin DJs as mildtowild, hosts the Mild to Wild radio show on dublab.es, and is launching Mild to Wild Records, a house music vinyl label.
