Severine Wider is the co-owner and manager of Semowi Nature Camp, an eco-tourism lodge in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. She oversees operations, guest experience, marketing, and business development while helping create meaningful travel experiences in one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems.
Before moving to Botswana, Severine worked for 10 years as a cardiology nurse, where she developed strong skills in responsibility, precision, and problem-solving under pressure. She later ran her own photography studio in Florida for 13 years, building a successful creative business and gaining extensive experience in entrepreneurship, client service, and visual storytelling.
Today, she combines these experiences while managing a remote safari camp and producing travel content about Botswana, including podcasts, articles, and practical travel guides.
Severine enjoys working on projects that require organization, creativity, and clear communication, and she is always interested in collaborations related to travel, hospitality, content creation, and small business development.More...
