Julian is an operations-driven strategist and venture advisor with over a decade of experience helping technology and infrastructure-adjacent companies scale through complexity—with early formative training as one of the final research assistants to world-renowned physicist Dr. Arthur H. Rosenfeld, the “Godfather of Energy Efficiency,” at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He specializes in building the people, systems, and operating discipline required to move from early growth to durable, institution-ready execution. Aurora Innovation (autonomous driving): Exceeded hiring plan by recruiting 50+ employees, helping scale the company from ~160 to 400+ employees in 17 months; partnered with the CEO, CFO, COO, and CMO to build eight operational teams from scratch while supporting critical AI and software engineering hires.
