Having a masters degree in mathematics, I have understanding of geometry, algebra, analysis, discrete mathematics, statistics, programming, group theory and numerical mathematics. In addition, I have over 7 years of industry level experience working as a computer vision engineer, researcher and head of AI doing everything
from data pipeline design, annotation, implementation of model architectures proposed in articles, model training, optimization and deployment in production, working on problems such as classification, detection, segmentation, SLAM and anomaly detection using supervised and semi-supervised methods.
At current workplace I’m working on self driving unmanned off-road ground vehicle equipped with GPS, stereo cameras, lidars, radars, IMUs and thermal cameras. I’m developing camera-lidar-IMU SLAM and camera-lidar-radar based detection methods for mapping and navigation of autonomous vehicle in GPS denied areas. I’m also studying and implementing unscented and error state Kalman filters for fusion of visual and inertial data in order to reduce latency in SLAM related processes.
Designing one of my own architectures for anomaly detection also won me the title of “Innovator of the year” in one of my previous workplaces and I also designed a method and
developed a working prototype for a 100% noninvasive alternative to bird ringing/banding for which my previous employer filed a patent application and won honoree award at CES 2024.More...
