I am the Program Director at Benson Theatre, where I recently co-directed our 2024 production of Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, a new musical by Stephen King and John Mellencamp. I am a practicing artist, administrator, and producer with expertise in theater and film. I am adept at securing funding, developing creative projects, and fostering partnerships. I have a proven track record of leading successful arts organizations and delivering engaging programming. I am committed to nurturing underrepresented artists and communities through inclusive platforms. I am the co-founded the Omaha Film Festival, for which I served as Executive Director for 15 years. I helped Benson Theatre gain national attention by producing the first-ever stage adaptation of Stephen King’s The Shining in 2014, which I co-wrote and directed. My follow-up play, Hummingbird, a tribute to the late Robin Williams, was well received at the inaugural Omaha Fringe Festival in 2019. In the last year, I have found my way back on stage as an actor, where my passion for theatre began.
