With over 25 years at the BBC, I bring a unique blend of editorial leadership, international media strategy, and business development expertise. As Business Development Manager for Global Partnerships at BBC World Service, I manage a $5M+ portfolio, delivering impactful educational content in collaboration with global partners like the Gates Foundation, Nobel Foundation, and Wellcome Trust.
My career spans presenting and producing award-winning news, current affairs, and documentaries across BBC World Service, BBC World News, and BBC Persian. I’ve also led pioneering work in digital journalism and social media strategy, shaping editorial guidelines still in use today at the BBC.
As a senior media trainer with the BBC Academy, I’ve delivered journalism and leadership training in over a dozen countries, and I regularly speak at international conferences, universities, and media forums.
