Jorge's career as a CPA, litigator, and forensic accountant has provided him a diversity of experience including:
• As litigator, successfully argued a motion to dismiss on a Caremark claim, which the Delaware Court of Chancery has described as “possibly the most difficult theory in corporation law upon which a plaintiff might hope to win a judgment. . . .”
• As Director of Forensic Accounting at Milberg Weiss, led financial investigations in many high-profile cases including, Enron, Tyco, Rite-Aid, and Waste Management.
• As an expert witness, testified in matters involving the subject of alter ego, business valuations, employer-employee relationships, and financial malfeasance.
• As adjunct professor, developed and taught the first forensic accounting course at Baruch College, in New York.More...
