I earned a BS in Mathematics/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989. Throughout the 90s, I built backend service software (now called cloud services) to facilitate eCommerce and entertainment. From '99 to '08, I helped Amazon.com's computing scale to global proportions. Since then, I've founded a handful of startups, most notably Athyria LLC where we have helped Fortune 500 companies scale their computing to global proportions.
