Demet Arslan

Demet Arslan is a legal professional with a focus on corporate law, international tax law, arbitration, and mediation. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Istanbul Bilgi University and completed a Master’s in Tax Law at Gazi University with a thesis titled “Arbitration Proposal of OECD Regarding the Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreements and Evaluation of Turkey’s Situation,” which was later published by OnikiLevha Publishing. She holds National and International Mediator, Arbitrator, and Negotiator accreditations from TOBBUYUM.
With 18 years of professional experience, Ms. Arslan has developed extensive expertise in commercial law, corporate law, construction contracts, and capital markets law.
Early in her career, Ms. Arslan was involved in human rights education and gained experience in banking law, including advisory work for the Garanti-GE merger. Her expertise expanded through work in arbitration and joint ventures under Prof. Dr. Kemal Dayınlarlı, and she has taught Arbitration Law at Atılım University.
