# R&D manager and nuclear engineer
I lead and build R&D solutions for roughly 50 projects across decommissioning projects in China, radiation safety and unmanned systems in the nuclear industry. At INPP (Ignalina, Lithuania) I work with a first‑generation RBMK‑type plant in decommissioning, turning strict safety requirements and tough field conditions into concrete engineering tasks and robotic concepts for high‑dose, hard‑to‑access areas, including agentic inspection loops and data‑driven decision pipelines derived from our underwater welding robot case study for AP1000 spent fuel pools . As an R&D consultant for Bureau Veritas, I help shape and review advanced concepts in automation, robotics and AI‑assisted workflows, focusing on feasibility, risk and implementation roadmaps . In our Sino‑Ukrainian joint venture I coordinate a remote Ukrainian team and stay hands‑on with algorithms, computer vision, system integration and field tests for unmanned inspection and intervention technologies, using Extreme Project Management to keep innovation moving under nuclear‑grade constraints .More...
