As HR & Services Manager the following was my role in a nutshell
Management of all Labor functions on the mine, Recruitment, Employment, Payroll and Discipline.
Control the Mine Labor Plan for Local and Expatriate Labor – Consisting of 800 Staff members
Control all Rotation Schedules, booking of all flights to and from South Africa & Zimbabwe
Managing all Accommodations, Services and Kitchens.
Oversee Procurement and preparation of all meals (3 Meals per day all staff members from 6 Kitchens)
Management of all Services Staff including Safety, Security and Clinic
Liaison with all required Government departments, National Employment Council, Department of Immigration for Work Permit Applications and Renewals
ACHIEVEMENTS
I was elected to serve on the National Employment Council for the Ferro Alloy industries (NEC Ferro Alloys) as a Councilor for the Employer Party. A position I held for a Year and 4 Months. In this capacity I was involved in the negotiations of increases for the whole industry, the updating of the CBA and Code of conduct for the Ferro Alloy industry in Zimbabwe. All statutory documents were aligned with the Labour Act 28:01
I was employed by the same company for a total of 11 Years in various positions with the likes of Admin Manager, Procurement Manager, Projects Manager and Logistics Manager
The previous Company I worked for I was Appointed as Regional Sales Manager - West Africa, Sales Manager Africa and Operations Manager Africa.
