With more than 10 years of experience in the food industry, I am a senior research and development engineer at Nestlé, one of the largest companies in the world in the sector. I lead innovation and optimization projects for processes and products, using tools such as CAD and Advanced Excel, to develop creative and efficient solutions that add value to customers, consumers and the environment.
I am currently the Global Sustainability Expert in the Infant Cereals category.
Before assuming this position, I worked as a production manager and senior process engineer in the same company, contributing to improving the quality, productivity, safety and sustainability of operations. I have a degree in mechanical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, where I acquired technical and scientific knowledge in my area of expertise. I am passionate about learning new technologies, working in a team and facing complex challenges.
