I am a multidisciplinary executive with an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and over 17 years of experience across the oil & gas and education technology sectors. I spent more than a decade at Statoil as a Reservoir Engineer in the Asset Management Department, overseeing large-scale operations on key Libyan fields including Murzuq (320,000 bbls/d) and Mabruk (37,000 bbls/d). My responsibilities included field development planning (FDPs), SEC reporting, HSE compliance, and managing agreements with IOCs and the NOC. I later transitioned into a Business Development Manager role, focusing on strategic growth and stakeholder engagement.
Since 2020, I have been the CEO of Libya’s largest e-learning company. Under my leadership, the company reached a valuation of 13 million LYD by 2025, built a user base of over 100,000 students, and made history as the first Libyan educational institution to represent the country in the prestigious Hamdan Prize 2024.
