I have been working as a Software Engineer for over 10 years. During this time I have developed a passion for building robust software systems that service a variety of business needs, including data capture, storage, reporting, third-party integration, and presentation to end users. My years of experience have enabled me to plan for scale from the outset of a project, not by solving every problem that may arise, but by ensuring that paths remain open for where growth may lead. When developing a client-facing application, I believe that good user experience is essential, and I strive to produce user interfaces that inspire clarity, confidence, and productivity.

I am currently completing my Masters degree in Computer Science at the University of Pretoria, researching Virtual Reality technology, and how it can be applied to improve educational tools.
