From selling pantyhose at seven to becoming a director and partner in a renewable energy training academy, my journey has been shaped by resilience, versatility, and an entrepreneurial spirit. I built my independence early through diverse roles in family businesses, retail, beauty, and hospitality—developing a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of people and service.
At sixteen, I was already financing my education through creative ventures. My career later evolved into the fashion and advertising industry, where I worked as a professional model for over 21 years, while also serving as a model agent and offering training in industry etiquette and how to ace castings.
Transitioning into wellness and business management, I spent over 12 years as General Manager of a wellness studio, overseeing clients, staff, and operations. Later, I became a Director and Partner of a Solar Installation and Renewable Energy Training Academy in South Africa, successfully registering the institution with national regulatory bodies including ECSA, QCTO, SETA, and SAPVIA — completing this milestone the day before my second child was born.
