Nickey holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Both degrees are in Creative Writing. She has a fierce passion for words and hopes to continue creating these magical stories.
For the last several years, she’s lived in New Jersey with her fiancée, Alexa. Together, they own an Italian Greyhound, Lacey, and a domestic shorthair cat, Bubz. Nickey is also obsessed with musicals and intricate music that tells a gutwrenching story. She has ghostwritten half a dozen novels in the past few years as her main gig.
At age 26, Nickey published her first novel through the publishing company eGlobal, titled “Whiskey Kind of Love,” available in paperback on the Barnes & Noble website. The sequel, “Love on the Rocks,” will be available in 2026, later this year.
Several novels of hers haven’t seen the light of day and live in her computer, but she hopes to change that someday.More...
