Participated as a member of a team consisting of the medical director, nursing director. Managed Gaza Hospital as a 20 bed field hospital during 4 months of armed conflict, responsibilities included maintaining the morale of the team, liasing with the expatriate volunteer medical team, overseeing flow of medical and food supplies to hospital, overseeing the evacuation process of the hospital during the period of the massacre of Sabra and Shatila in September 1982. Participated in the rehabilitation process during the aftermath of the conflict till 1984.
