Follow contract, property, or insurance laws as well as ensuring adjusters follow all laws
Maintain, store and file insurance records, reports and files
Review insurance policies to determine appropriate coverage
Assign new claims to appropriate adjusters depending on territory- Claims can range from home, auto, dwelling, inland marine, business auto, commercial, and farmers
Confirming coverage on all policy types
-Daily tasks include, but not limited to, opening and closing digital files, file conversions, voiding checks, Stop payments on claims checks, issuing and printing claims checks, disbursement and mailing of claims checks
-Daily Data entry - includes entry in three separate management systems including coding in PMS system -Entry can include, but not limited to, creating and entering information for claims payments, settlement checks, supplemental checks, manual checks, total loss entry for salvage vehicles, W-9 entry, entry of POA information and Attorney rep information
-Daily office management - duties include, but not limited to, answering and maintaining a multiline telephone system, addressing customer issues with quick and efficient resolution, managing incoming and outgoing mail, managing and ordering supplies for the entire office and staff
