Andrew W. Nunn - PhotographerFreelance Photographer
Apr. 2009Stresemannstraße 30, 61321 Bad NauheimMy name is Andrew Nunn, and I’m an American fine art photographer, practicing the historic wet collodion process, as invented by Frederick Scott Archer in 1851, living in Germany. I’m also attending Academy of Art University’s online Master of Fine Arts Photography program. I have previously worked as a photojournalist and documentary photographer, covering the struggle of returning Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans (2009-2014), covering the Iraqi and Syrian civil conflicts (2014-2015), and a brief foray into commercial photography for Discover Your Game/BeKnown LLC (2013-2014). I am outspoken about mental health, and carry a diagnosis of Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I’m also the kind of person who considers all dogs, regardless of size or age, to be “puppies.” Previous clients include: Foundry Photojournalism Workshops, The Wall Street Journal, La Presse (Canada), De Tijd (Belgium), Bild (Germany).
