Jul. 2023Hong Kong SAR · RemoteAll Stars Women DAO is a community initiative supporting women founders and entrepreneurs in the Web3 and AI space. For our Asia Pacific Chapter, our current community size is over 900 members. My role consists of:
1. Driving the education vertical. This means I oversee and drive any projects related to education and any education initiatives. 2. Providing expert advice to edtech startups and Web3 projects, focusing on community education and advising projects on community/customer onramping processes.
3. Representing All Star Women as a thought leader and/or facilitator in various business conferences and school talks, promoting the Web3 and supporting the education initiative of girls in tech. 4. Creating and hosting Web3 educational workshops, enhancing learning and engagement within the community. The most notable workshop was a Parent-Child NFT Charity Workshop. We taught blockchain, art and charity in the span of 3 hours. After the children were tasked to sell their NFTs for a local charity Principal Chan Tutorial World. Over the course of 2 weeks, we fundraised 30,000HKD which provided for 25 underprivileged students to receive free tuition for one year.

Since 2010, I have been coaching High School students to achieve top scores in their SATs and their high school leaving exams. During this Covid-19 pandemic, I've witnessed first hand the awesome resilience of my friends who experienced some setbacks...some job insecurities...some furloughs...some decrease income. Many of us went into action mode, i.e. "Okay, now what do I do? What can I create? How can I increase my income and support my family?" I fully respect everyone who at this moment are starting their entrepreneurial journey on the fly. Few have time to go back to attend a full 4-year Business degree. So, this project She Means Bizness is my way to contribute and uplift the female entrepreneur community. I'm a devout Christian and I walk entirely in faith. 2020 was a huge invitation for me to step into faith. And...actually I've had the best year ever so far! Hence, She Means Bizness podcast and videos do carry Christian tones because I am authentic in my sharing of what I practice that has created success in several of my businesses :)

Our core product was a Chinese medicinal hair solution. I have experience in marketing our product through: direct sales (we had our own MLM company with a steady 4,000 member base), infomercials (SME Channel and MVTV,), pharmaceutical retail distribution (sold our product in over 2,000 pharmacies in Thailand), hair centers. Managed a marketing budget of 1.4 million baht. Our infomercials were very successful. As a product owner, I experienced the whole onboarding process for infomercial suppliers. Filming and story-boarding of commercials, training the telesales and customer service staff, and the continual communication with the Strategic Unit teams.
