• Responsible for purchasing all consumables etc for restaurant and bar.
• Payroll generation and distribution.
• Dealing with customers queries and complaints on a daily basis.
• Scheduling of activities i.e after work lime with live bands, disc jockeys every Friday and Saturday evening. Wedding receptions and banquets.
• Keeping records of all staff files, vacations, sick leave, staff rotations etc.for the two departments.
• Generation of special menus on evenings and for special occasions.
• Ensuring that the restaurant is in perfect condition to entertain the guests; cleanliness, lighting, music, table layout, menu specials, flowers, linen etc.
• The opening and closing of the restaurant at the designated times.
• The maintenance of optimum stock of all food and beverage consumables e.g. straws, takeaway bags, cleaning materials.
• Providing checklist to bar and kitchen and ensuring that shift leaders and head chef are providing lists in a timely manner so Storeroom Assistant can replenish locations efficiently.
• Advertising and Marketing Promotion in conjunction with the Directors.
• Organizing weekly stock checks and presentation of results within 2-3days. • Generation of Food and Beverage Costing. using Restaurant Manager Software, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
