Feb. 2018 - Aug. 2019I decided to spend some time in UK to look at development sites around the UK. I focus purely on UK regional cities, especially, Birmingham, Liverpool & Manchester but also 2nd tier regional cities that I think can add value to UK investors such as Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham etc.
I sought out Developers with a good track record of which I have multiple relationships with due to my previous experience arranging developer finance when I was based in the UK and looked at and appraised sites that I thought would be of interest to the Asian market.
I then put together all documentation needed for the Sales, Marketing, Legal and Adminstrative departments of any agency that would look to sell the development. This was an extensive approach to a development that I hadn't ever seen whilst selling to direct clients or adding distribution channels.
My thought was that both agents and sales teams of these agents have never been given enough or the right information to sell a development correctly to its clients so I wanted to bridge this gap and give correct and concise information to all aspects of selling a UK site.
I dealt with multiple sites which some are still being sold in Asia and did a JV with the developer and attracted Asia agents for the sales operation of which I know most agents across HK, Shanghai & Singapore.
