Independent ConsultantManagement Engineer and Architect
Dec. 1994United States, ArlingtonProviding Holistic Management and Human Intellect Augmentation (HIA) services.
These include System and Business Engineering, using what are now called, Knowledge Graphs, Natural Lanaguage Processing (NLP), Analytics, and Semantic Web technology.
My Management Engineering and Architecture (MEA) approach is based on my holistic Mission-Lifecycle (ML) Management method, for use in: Value-Chain Management, Supply-Chain Management, Unified Infrastructure Management (e.g., Power, Fuel, Water, Waste, Transportation, Information-Grid), Humanitarian Lifecycle Management, Sustainability Lifecycle Management, Emergency Preparation and Response Management, Customer Relations and Service Management, and Operational Resiliency Management.
As an Engineer, Architect, Analyst and Manager, developed the globally-scalable management engineering and architecture (MEA) method and software application, consisting of a generalized management process, databases, and technologies. MEA, as a generalized end-to-end management system, is used to build a unified management lifecycle and knowledge-base from digitally-recorded content, equivalent to the modern Graph forms of NoSQL data technology.
I have created an extension of the W3C standard Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) for MEA called the Operations and Knowledge Organization System (OKOS), built on value-chain and supply-chain management methods, using metadata repositories and Graph data technologies.
I provided SE-based EA methods and services to Federal clients, including working with and upgrading commercial and open-source EA tools.
