The name 80% was inspired from the 80/20 rule coined in the late 1940’s by Dr. Joseph Juran a quality management expert. Who observed that 80% of the results are caused by 20% of focused effort. The 80/20 rule is applied in many disciplines today, Human Resources, Economics, Business and even personal productivity. This theory has inspired 80% “Collaborating for a change” a social sports firm that aspires to join the vital few who are generating much of the impact in the sports and fitness industry in Kuwait and the GCC. the theory developed by the Italian economist Vilferdo Pareto who observed the unequal distribution of wealth in Italy in 1906, where 20% of the people owned 80% of the wealth. Similarly inaccurately attributed the 80/20 rule “Law of the vital few and trivial many” to pareto naming it the pareto principle, which was later used in different areas and by many experts. نبذة عن ثمانين٪
هي شركة تنظيم فعاليات و برامج رياضية ومبادرات مجتمعية الهدف منها توعية المجتمع و نشر نمط حياة صحي بين أفراد المجتمع في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. تم استلهام اسم ثمانين٪ من نظرية العالم الاقتصادي باريتو و الذي طورها بعد ان لاحظ عدم المساواة في توزيع الثروة في ايطاليا عام ١٩٠٦ حيث كانت نسبة ٢٠٪ من الشعب تمتلك ٨٠٪ من الثروة. و بعدها بسنوات تم استحداث قانون "باريتو" و الذي ينص على " ان ثمانين بالمئة من النتائج تحدث نتيجة عشرين بالمائة من الأسباب" و من هناك استلهمنا اسمنا ثمانين٪ " لنتعاون من أجل التغيير" وذلك لكي نكون من العشرين بالمئة الذين يعملون من اجل التغيير الايجابي في نشر الوعي الرياضي الصحي في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
