Involved in the planning, creation and development of a second company called AMAPARTS Precision Machining S.A. de C.V. (join venture with French company Alpen Tech and German company Mesa Parts). Responsible in the investment analysis, acquisition, installation, operation and production for:
-ERP EPICOR 10 (Main responsible for the application).
-Computer Assisted Statistical Process Control (SPC) software for the two companies. Responsible in the operative and administrative cost reduction for high volume, low profit parts to optimize them helping directly in the gross profit of the projects. The summary of results is:
- Reduction in 10% of process costs by improving with the engineering and methods team the manufacturing process.
- Reduction in 23% of tolling costs by applying a tool changing program and optimizing stock.
- Reduction in 71% of inefficiency costs by applying the Toyota Production System (TPS) "Standard Work Model".
- Reduction in 12% of quality costs by following correctly Automotive Quality Core Tools.
- Reduction of 15% of overhead costs by applying the "Zero Extra Time Policy". * The percentage shown are an average for five projects managed and the average time of accomplishment is six months. Responsible of the coordination for applying the Automotive Quality Core Tools leading into a good use of:
- FMEA. Good use of the customers DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) in order to create an outstanding PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) to warranty a quality and volumes required.
- Control Plan. Related from the customer specs and the FMEAs, the responsibility is to create an error proof Control Plan.
- PPAP to PSW coordination and optimization.
- Implementation a living method for the APQP's (Advance Product Quality Planning).
