May. 2008 - Apr. 2012Gauteng-Assisting in designing & implementing a SGM prog aimed at showcasing the global EY brand to existing & prospective clients -Project Management of Regional World & Social Entrepreneur Awards programmes across Africa -Project Management of the Global Annual Strategic Growth Forum for Entrepreneurs to Africa
-Manage relationships with relevant business organisations e.g.BWA,AWCA,BMF
-Arranging EOY client functions,EMEIA conferences & sponsored events -Liaising with national media relations team to increase strategic external communications across Africa -Relevant Sponsors/non competing sponsors–managing these relationships & contracts
-Year on year EOY programme strategy–developing strategy/positioning for each of the African regions
-Securing nominations through direct communication with entrepreneurs clearly articulating the programme strategy
-Assimilating judging reports for EOY judges for short listing and EOY Award winners.
-Business Development for SGM and EOY targets & clients
-Brand Management of global brand identity & Africa wide initiatives
-Managing roll-out of SGF Africa March 2012
-Securing sales opportunities.
-Supporting brand through “value in participation”. Understanding,identifying & development of such values.
-Client relationship management–managing relationships with the entrepreneurs & SGM potential clients & clients facilitating meetings for potential leads
-Development of community learning forums which support and enhance peer networking; foundation for business relationships -Strategy around thought leadership and deliverable learning forums
-Design & roll out of learning forums such as CEO Retreat ,IPO retreat,team challenges, EOY Forum
-Promoting relevant marketing initiatives
-Internal communications to the business to create awareness of SGM & business wins & activities
-Overseeing the advertising & sponsorship proposals for SGM
-Compiling strategy for Corporate Social Responsibility project–Umwhebi.
