Worked along side the Baymard user experience agency to conduct a pilot that included skills in user experience research. - Investigate the current system for collecting qualitative and quantitative data about Shopify Plus customers, partners, and frontline service employees;
- Investigate the current system for storing, retrieving, and sharing this data throughout the organization;
- Synthesize learnings and generate a report of your findings and recommendations for improving how we collect, synthesize, and share insights across the organization in three developmental phases of execution;
- Assemble a cross-functional team of collaborators to implement your approach for improving customer centricity at Shopify Plus;
- Create a roadmap with key milestones to ensure alignment among stakeholders and collaborators;
- Enable more informed decision-making by streamlining how we collect, synthesize, and share customer insights up, across, and down;
- Advocate for teams to understand the why behind the merchant, buyer, partner, and employee experience to help us grow in a more human-centered manner;
- Generate compelling content (e.g. interactive journey maps, podcast episodes, video series, office installations, insight newsletters) for product and service delivery teams based on customer insights;
- In collaboration with the Research Coordinator, operationalize customer research across Shopify Plus to maximize the value for participants before, during, and after each engagement;
- Use visual and verbal storytelling to share your discoveries, gather and integrate feedback, influence stakeholders, and create energy for an idea or an initiative.
