Over the same period, the number of cardholders rose from 400 thousand to over 1.3 million. ➢ Maintained operating expenses at almost half the level of bank-based card businesses. ➢ Maintained the ratio of overdue receivables to total receivables at 1/3 the average level for banks. ➢ Established extensive infrastructure to provide member retailers with customer behavior analyses, segmentation and CRM. ➢ Managed seven due-diligence audits before the company’s eventual sale to HSBC at a value of US$75 million (approximately US$50/card).
