Implemented a solution within their existing workflow so the new practices could be easily adopted. Using Excel Power Query and pivot tables I reduced opportunities for human error and significantly improved processing times. 2021- Feb 2023: Worked with a client's global human resources data concerning things like; hires, promotions, employees, diversity, candidate applications, succession planning, vaccination rates, department headcounts, and other HR metrics. In doing this I created various reports with visualizations and analyses which were then distributed to Sr VPs and the like, typically in the form of a Powerpoint. I processed large datasets which involved: making transformations, cleaning, and conducting analyses of the data in order to assist leadership in their decisions. Other tasks included automating processes with Python scripts (previously done manually in Excel), data validation and testing for new datasets, defining data requirements for new datasets, providing specific data upon request, and remote collaboration with co-workers. I used various data analysis tools on a daily basis, some of which are: -Tableau to analyze data, create visuals, and report on various metrics -Tableau Prep to query, clean, combine and transform datasets, creating replicable workflows -Python with pandas, numpy, os, and other packages in JupyterLab and Anaconda environment or -SQL to pull data from the client's database -Excel pivot tables, v-lookups, and logic formulas 2020-2021: Built an e-commerce site with the Shopify platform, sold products and implemented Google Analytics to track ad performance, page views, and customer demographics. Ran advertisements on all the major social media marketing platforms of the time. Built the company website using WordPress, CSS, and add-ins.
