Our then humble one man agency KJ Insurance & Financial Services was established in 2011 by our founder Kennith J. Mercado “KJ” He was working in broadcast marketing at the time but already had an extensive career in the field of Insurance & Financial Services. The “THRIVE” Brand and identity was re-imagined and introduced during the 2020 Pandemic and better represented the multiple facets of insurance and value-added solutions we offer. In 2013, we pivoted from our roots of being a local insurance service agency to being a non-traditional insurance and employee benefits firm hyper-focused on disability, business coverages and supplemental health or life insurance protections. In 2019, just prior to the COVID shutdowns, we solidified the marketing portion of business when we launched our Inspired Imprints subsidiary Marketing, Signs and Print on Demand company. - Currently involved with Contract Enrollment work in the ACA Marketplace Health Insurance Exchange in more than 20 States Remotely. The company is an Insurance Tech and AI company called My Health Insurance a division of Best Policy Co. We handle backend submissions with Health Sherpa and MFG, perform accounts management tasks and help promote Ancillary products throughout our remote team and to existing policyholders. Other projects include; - Non-profit Ministry aspirations for Transitional & Sober Living and a "start-up on the job" work placement program, we are a founding partner with a professional team preparing for Grant or Foundational Funding. A lot has taken place with this endeavor in short time, we have already placed two families in apartments they couldn't otherwise qualify for. We are considering the formal name as Servant Hearts Recovery Ministries - we will instill Recovery beyond mainstream Recovery, through Redemption, Servitude and True Restoration in society.
