Cover letter I have been very much a part of a team while building and fostering professional relationships with managers, directors, co-workers, parents and students. This exposure highlights the acute appreciation I have for understanding people. I consider myself to have a high level of patience and tolerance. I have a passion for self-growth, and development as well as a high willingness to learn. I have acquired 8 years of experience in the design and marketing industry through working with different companies, freelancing and starting up my own small consulting business named RafikiMedia, which is involved in the digital marketing industry. My experience in the design space has equipped me with the ability to be creative, forward-thinking and adaptive while being exposed to different design demands. I have advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, being highly skilled in InDesign; Photoshop; and Illustrator and Adobe XD as well as Figma. My skills expand through to the Microsoft suite such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Throughout my years, I have aquired the ability to become proficient in the ideation phase of design while systematically working through stages of taking an idea and vision, compiling wireframe ideas and templates and translating these into a powerful narrative in an exciting and interesting manner, while bringing a competitive edge to the table. Speaking to my ambition for growth and my motivation to learn I enrolled in and completed studying a Business Management Level 4 & 5 Extended diploma from which I hope to translate the skills developed into productive applications within the creative design space. My journey so far has allowed me to improve and obtain strengths such as managing conflict and problem-solving, interpersonal skills, communicating on a positive and successful level, the ability to work under pressure, committing to cultivating and being a part of a strong working culture, as well as being adaptable and open-minded.
