I was responsible for significantly improving sales performance and productivity in BCR retail network. I recruited, trained, developed and managed a team of 65 people that implemented the Sales Force Effectiveness Program in retail branches of BCR. Their main responsibilities were: - to implement retail sales and service standards in branches - to ensure compliance to sales and service standards, in order to ensure customer satisfaction - to increase sales productivity in retail branches - to develop and coach branch managers in order to achieve a marked increased in sales performance - to manage existing performance issues and consistently increase performance across the network We had 650 branches implemented, and sales productivity across these branches increased 3 fold. Volumes sold in implemented branches were sustainable between 25% and 75% higher vs non-implemented ones. I managed a budget of 1 mil RON/year excluding staff costs.

I coordinated the pilot stage of the project, recruited and trained the necessary personnel for implementation. I coordinated the creation of the Sales Effectiveness Department, which I subsequently managed. I am part of the international specialist team which does internal consulting on SFE topics in the Erste Group. I was part of the consulting team for SFE Programs in Hungary and Serbia.

I wrote the Sales Standards Handbook and Sales Management Handbook (a collection of mandatory sales management practices to be used in the network). I implemented an internal Product Helpdesk that answered network employees' questions regarding products.

Responsibilities: design, optimization and implementation of sales processes in retail division (450 branches, 3000 advisors). Starting October 2006 coordinated planning, development and optimization for Sales Force Effectiveness project, which lead to increase in sales productivity and service quality of the retail branch network - following implementation sales of main products had a sustainable uplift of 30%-40%. Starting 2007 I was project manager for the distribution of private pension funds from AIG through Raiffeisen Bank channels - branch network, direct sales agents and specialized channels. I coordonated the multi-disciplinary project team of more than 30 people from business line and support areas: Branch network management, Legal and Tax, Training, IT, Logistics, Marketing. I coordinated the set-up of an SPV to handle the distribution and to mark revenues from this deal. I managed a budget of 500 000 EUR and obtained a gross profit from this activity of approx. 1 mil EUR.

This 10 month program was designed to allow hands-on experience in all areas of the bank - retail, corporate, risk, treasury, and support services, and following its completion, we were given the choice to work in the area we found most interesting. Accomplishments: SME Business "Acquisition War Room" project - 6 weeks to acquire as many clients as possible with 2 mio EUR in loans and current account services sold. We handled the entire process involving cold calling, sales meetings and financial analysis.
