Graduated with honors with a Degree in Communication Arts Major in Public Relations as a University Scholar from the Philippine Women’s University; at the University, she was also a Fellow of the Conrado Benitez Fellowship for Personality Development. She has completed Courses on Critical Thinking and the Future of Storytelling both at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, Germany, and a Certificate in Photography from Michigan State University, in the United States. She has conducted workshops on topics such as Personality Development and Design Thinking for organizations such as the Department of Education, Intellicare, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, and the Asia Pacific College among others. She is a mentor, instructor, and teacher trainer in the Special Program for the Arts and the Art and Design Track for Senior High School with the Department of Education and is a member of the SPA Task for Media Arts under the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She is a developer of the DepEd Curriculum Guides for Media Arts, a developer and writer of Learning Resource Modules, and she is the lead author of the DepEd Senior High School Textbook on Apprenticeship in the Arts. Currently Managing my own Business Garcia & Garcia Training Consultancy.
