Leading the strategic planning process, formulating the corporate vision, and strategic directions, initiating growth strategies, approving all financial management and new product development initiatives, providing strategic guidance on operations, and approving capital projects. Representing the company to all local and international business partners and the media.
• Appointed to the Board of Air Deccan to oversee the merger and acquisition of Air Deccan into Kingfisher Airlines
• Building and maintaining relationships with key private sector and government organisations at the executive management and Board levels
• Identifying and initiating industry joint-ventures, commercial partnerships and acquisitions in the nominated target markets
• Overall budget responsibility in excess of 300M USD
