This includes all aspects of the design, software, hardware and system. In this role I was required to interface with a variety of teams including software design, hardware design, test engineering, systems engineering, and supply chain management. The greatest challenge in this role was being able to effectively communicate with the variety design groups.

Intimately knowledgeable of Freescale PowerPC architecture, programming, and debugging using a variety of tools and environments. Required to develop drivers for the following protocols and devices: RS232, I2C, HDLC, ATM (AAL0, UTOPIA2 PHY’s), Flash, EEPROM, FPGA Downloader, micro-wire programming of PLL’s. Implemented test automation and automated system control using National Instruments LabView. Experience in Highly Accelerated Life Testing of new products which allows us to de-risk potentially weak hardware designs and increase our design margins in signal integrity.
