The primary goal was to reduce the reliance on temporary staff by focusing on the placement of FTE’s and to change the corporate culture to one which focuses on retention and development. Responsibilities included: ATS (Paycom) Administration, staffing vendor management, social and professional media management, employee engagement, succession planning, strategic planning for long and short-term Talent Acquisition objectives, establish credibility and trust with internal clients, guidance and counsel for hiring management, accurate documentation of all onboarding, new hire orientation, training, and I-9 compliance, manage and implement background and drug screening, TN visa process management, establish and manage employee referral plan, network and collaborate with organizations related to Resilux talent needs, expansion and promotion of company reputation in the local community via vigorous community engagement. Focused on becoming the preferred employer in the region, development of an internship program leveraging local and regional universities and trade schools. Notable Accomplishments:
Monumental reduction of reliance on temporary and permanent staffing (agency fee reduction of over $1,000,000US in first full year); Reduction of approved vendors from 15 to 4 engaged; Expanded FTE headcount through the most severe period of the Covid health crisis; Improved FTE headcount to 99% of budgeted roles; Simplification of the hiring process; Time to hire reduced to as short as 24 hours in most circumstances; Establishment of a hiring philosophy and interview methodology based on Behavioral and Performance Based Hiring; Successfully established a Talent Acquisition practice embraced as a trusted advisory internal business partner.
