My most recent experience is at a small semiconductor design engineering company where I have worked as an IC package design engineer, a printed circuit board (PCB) design engineer, a quality engineer, and most recently in engineering recruitment and workforce development and as a public representative of my design firm. My social skills are far more advanced than the typical engineer, and I have enjoyed using these skills to teach other engineers how to communicate as well. I spent four years on my university’s alumni board of directors where I was appointed to board president due to my proven abilities in problem-solving and public speaking. I served as president from 2022-24. I am a highly altruistic person who loves to help people identify and solve problems because helping other people makes me happy. I tend to excel in pattern recognition, problem solving, performing under pressure, PR/promotion, social/soft skills, and public speaking. I have served on numerous FAQ panels, think-tank working groups, spent years mentoring other practicing engineers and students, and as a public speaker at multiple universities both for my job and for my alumni board. I’m looking for something part-time, at minimum, and preferably remote for now. However, I am open to travel for public speaking engagements if needed.
